GENEALOGY RESEARCH SERVICES
Roots Adventure provides source-based genealogy research, DNA match clustering, and private archive-building services for families who want evidence, context, and a calm place to keep what matters.
Every project is scoped individually and documented clearly so you can understand what was found, what remains uncertain, and where to look next.

Research services
Four focused service paths keep the choices clear: flagship African American genealogy research, general genealogy research, DNA match clustering, and done-for-you private archive building.
Trace documented family lines toward the 1870 census, investigate possible pre-emancipation clues, and receive clear source-based findings with next-step recommendations.

Organize shared matches into ancestral groups, separate maternal and paternal lines, identify shared ancestor clusters, and use the results to guide deeper genealogy research.
Turn your family history, records, photographs, timelines, notes, and research into one organized private Roots Adventure archive you can keep and continue building.
How research works
A Roots Adventure project keeps the work understandable from the first requirement form to final delivery.
Start with the fixed package or custom research question closest to your need.
Share names, dates, places, relatives, records, DNA context, and what you already know.
See requirements, project status, messages, and the target delivery date once the project is set up.
Work is source-based, careful, and bounded by the approved package or agreed custom scope.
Receive updates, answer questions, and respond to extension requests when project timing needs approval.
Download final deliverables and request the included revision where the package provides one.
CLIENT EXPERIENCE
After ordering, clients can use their account to follow the project without losing important details in scattered emails. The current workflow supports requirements, project status, delivery timing, updates, messages, extension decisions, revision requests, completed research, private deliverable metadata, and eligible digital downloads.
Evidence boundaries
Records can be incomplete, contradictory, misindexed, restricted, or lost. Roots Adventure documents what the evidence supports, what remains uncertain, and what may be worth trying next.
