Start with the work in front of you
The best product depends on the kind of family-history work you are trying to protect.
Full Archive is the better fit when the project has research questions, documents, source notes, conflicting clues, DNA context, or complex family relationships. It is designed for deeper organization and evidence-aware storytelling.
Lite Archive is the better fit when the first goal is to collect photographs, identify people, invite simple family contributions, and preserve stories before details are lost.
Choose Full Archive when
- You need to connect records, people, sources, and interpretation
- You have complex questions or unresolved relationships
- You want story and evidence preserved together

Choose Lite Archive when
- You want a gentle starting point
- Family members may contribute simple stories or photo context
